What is Svanga Yoga Waves?

In Svanga Yoga Waves there are several variants for individual yoga positions. In a yoga position, additional exercises are carried out that stretch or strengthen additional body regions. The pleasant feeling of stretching is noticeable all over the body and would not be noticeable in the classic posture without the Svanga Yoga Waves variants.

 

For example, additional shoulder, arm, and hand movements are performed during the hero pose to specifically relieve neck tension.

 

In the downward-facing dog, for example, additional exercises are carried out with the foot or the leg, which help to relax the muscles, especially in the hip and sciatic area. In addition, the facial muscles are involved in some yoga positions because they can also gain volume and thus become an advantage of the facial contour and skin.

 

"Sva"; means own, "anga"; means limbs of the body. These must be treated with respect and responsibility in order to remain flexible into old age with good posture and joy in the body.
